I think if demand drops, oil prices will decline and China (and India) will have no reason to make changes - in fact they may increase their usage. Which is why us conservatives always harp on "economically viable" alternative energy. Alternatives won't become "economically viable" until its mass produced. Because conservatives are reactionary on this issue, we haven't gotten off the dime and started mass producing alternatives that can be "economically viable". Fuck leading, stop funding terrorists and worry about our needs. Huh?
