Tom--regarding KREM.
I really should have longed that one. I was certain it would be a bear trap, I just couldn't bring myself to buy.
For what it is worth I find it extremely valuable to read any books on the market that are best sellers. Beardstown Ladies, Peter Lynch and so on. KREM is a classic for someone who doesn't understand the market but is following Peter Lynch's "Buy what you know" strategy.
I have never seen one of their stores but picked up enough knowledge (on shorts threads of all things) to know many people would be looking at it as a play. "I like the donuts, the store is crowded to the extreme---BUY!"
These people don't look at fundamentals, they don't understand them if they do. They do have buying power though.
I unfortunately do understand growth rates and fundamentals. Too much in this case, should have longed the dog.
All the Best
