If it wasn't for a very few stocks like GRNO, I would have gone mostly to cash months ago. Years ago I learned about the 4 year periodicity of the stock market and 1997 is in the worst slot of the 4 possible. My plan had been to wait out the inevitable "correction" and then pile everything back into the best small caps I could find. Instead of that I'm doing exactly the opposite, with GRNO the long pole in my investment tent. I'm very concerned about GRNO being pulled down by a general decline, but I'm more concerned about a loss of opportunity because I think GRNO has too much upside potential.

I don't have a real time stock watching service, so I don't daytrade. My approach is to position for the long term in a stock like GRNO and sit back and wait. When I was patiently buying GRNO, the bid/ask was typically 1 1/8 X 1 3/8, and I couldn't buy more than 2,000 shares at a time without goosing the price.
