I know you belive in a pound of prevention but has either one ever caught anything?

I'm really careful about what I run/download so I'm not sure I need either. On one partition on one of my little used PCs I do backups of clients PCs that need to be formatted. I keep them for a month or so until they're sure they have everything they need from their old install.
I always scan the old install with Norton b4 copying it. Norton does find and quarantine many trojans but I guess BOClean and Trojan Hunter do a better job. A PC I'm working now rang the bell, 37 viruses and 2 backdoor Trojans. It's wonder it was ever able to boot but it took an average of 7 tries.
