Canadian mkts up except for the some airlines. Hearing that many investment funds not borrowing equities to short as well as another rumor that the Bank of Canada is using its moral suasion to request hedge funds not to short the mkts today. If true and successful, this will certainly help to sustain a bottom on equity prices for the near term.
