While the POA overall narrowed, the state polls for AR and WV released today both moved Bush's way.

WV now 45-42 Bush, a 3 point lead
AR now 47-45 Bush, a 2 point lead

Of your tossup states, my opinion sees AR, FL, ME, NH, NM, OR, PA, WI all leaning toward Bush. That would give Bush 317.

And a side comment on yesterday. It looked like watching the Rams play. They get a holding call, making it 3rd and 20 then connect with an uncounted on receiver (like their #5 WR) for a surprising touchdown. Perot's endorsement of Bush (and trashing of Gore) will be the biggest political story this morning. Every commuter going to work will hear it and it will help undecideds go Bush's way.

And Bush's DUI at age 30? Sounds like me. Like him, I paid the fine and served a suspension. I'm not proud of it either - but life happens. You learn from mistakes and grow up - like Bush did. I think it does nothing to hurt his campaign. We are a forgiving, feel-your-pain country - aren't we, Mr. President?
