Well, my view is that people are finally taking interest in getting Bush out of office. The Democrats are finally taking a hard look before they cast their votes. And the same will happen during the general elections. So all the poll numbers about Bush will evaporate if the situation in Iraq and the jobless situation does not improve.

To me anyone one is good if that candidate is electable. And Clark and Kerry look more electable than Dean. And then, unlike the Republicans, the Democrats are fiercely independent and they would not like to entertain the idea od endorsing a candidate before they have had their say. So maybe that has also got to do something with the slide a la Dean.
