Steve,

Keep getting error messages. In 'Select your internet connection',
if I choose 'DSL connection', then I got 'Error 678: The remote computer did not respond...'

Sounds like the router is not communicating with your PC. Do you have install instructions that came with the router? Maybe there is an install wizard that came with it. I remember that with my DLink it was important to turn everything off when setting up for the first time, especially disconnecting and cutting off power to the cable or DSL box, modem, or whatever you have. The DSL needs to reset before it can hook to a new or different device, like your router. Then turn everything on one at a time, starting with the DSL, then the router, then the computers.

Best of luck,
Esteban
