Are the plans classified? They seem to be absent.

Why does the price keep climbing? It started at $200 million. Last I've seen, we are at $350 million. Did they do the teardown without a budget? You know, the things they get from the plans.

Why do the various numbers not match up? Exterior and interior dimensions, for example. You know, things you can get from plans.

Why did he lie about not touching the East Wing? Tearing it down seems like it was significantly touched.

It sure looks like a scam. Trying to blow smoke up everyone's ass does tend to foster that impression.
