no, I am not drooling. Way too early for that even though the day will come. Just yesterday, I got a call seeking advice. This relative wants to figure out how to raise $300K for downpayment on a $800K house while still keeping a $700K house that he is currently living in. These are the future foreclosures that would be bargains for those willing to wait.

In the mean time, I think the Japanese must be happy. For 10 years now, we have been bashing the sushi out of them, accusing them of not acting properly, too slow, indecisive, whatever. Now it is our turn at bat. Greenspan has been taking wild swings and is down to last strike. May be he should just drop 125 basis points tomorrow and hands in resignation at the same time. Then we can start the cycle of "who wants to be Fed Chairman of the Day" similar to Japanese finance ministers or Argentinian presidents.

George "I have never taken a class in economics" Bush is going to be in shock, when he finds out that the Keynesian theories are named after a homosexual? "Ashcroft. Hurry. We got to outlaw this immediately. Go arrest somebody."

Hey Jay, speaking of blackmarkets. Do you remember the days when the money exchangers were giving around 10RMB for US$1 outside China Hotel in Guangzhou? I wonder if they would soon return and what the new exchange rate be.
