Skeeter, Your observation is true to your "forever bear" status. <g> The fact of the matter is that TXN was giving the store away for whatever reason. Sometimes the store can be worth less than zero and other times it can be worth $22 per share. That is why we have a market. Let them bid on it and see what they think it was worth. As of close today they thought MU was worth $22. Tomorrow will certainly be different...the single digits as you have been saying or something much higher than 22. If I had to guess I would bet on high 20's tomorrow for THE NEW MICRON for the following reasons: 1)Korea announced the closing of one of their fabs 2)Micron now has presence in Asia with the KOBE merger 3)Micron doubles its own capacity(just guess) while eliminating a US competitor. 4)Size does make a difference and it will further instill fear in the rest of SEA that thinks they can take on MICRON. DavidG
