I apologize for sounding like an idiot, but what does this mean? I think I like the idea of a stock split, but I don't have the slightest understanding why it helps the company recruit new employees. Does the company itself own a bunch of shares, and it now costs them half as much to offer options to new employees or they can offer twice as many options?
