Also its not correct. Its not and has not been boom times, but our economy has done fairly well.

You're being illogical and defensive. I am not disputing that the recovery exists. I am saying it exists but its weak because the industries doing best are those that have most of their business overseas or are in the oil/mineral business.......not the ones that cater exclusively to the American marketplace and the American consumer with the once notable exception of housing.
