<<have you heard of sfe?>> edamo: as i recall SFE is SafeGuard Scientifics -- one of the earliest incubators in the technology field (and one of the largest investors in ICGE, VERT, etc..)....I read an article in Fortune about the Chairman who got seduced by the internet boom period in the late 90s -- he personally bought alot of net stocks and ICGE on margin and refused to sell them on the way down --> at the same time he was living the good life with his 2nd wife...He received some MASSIVE margin calls and was forced to sell lots of his shares in his company for the first time. Most of his wealth has evaporated...I don't think he'll go hungry but most of the firms that this exec. has stock in are way down in the single digits and out of favor. Who knows, he may surprise us and SFE may make a comeback. Don't a lot of folks in the Phili area own shares of SFE, ICGE or VERT? Maybe not anymore... Best Regards, Scott
