I don't even WANT to contemplate a takeover. They are a great little company just the way they are. There were a few more big block trades today than usual..for example 180,000 shares at 95 11/16 before the open, and 50,000 at 97 3/8 right after the close. The rest of the blocks were 10k anywhere from 96 3/4 to 99 1/2.
But let us remind ourselves the reason to hold CREE is product innovation and earnings!
