Such strategy is good for certain occasion, but it definitely 'd tie up ur buying power. Besides, no matter how sure one is, there can always be loopholes. We are only human. Wirting naked calls requires one to have better information access on this financial market food chain. We are talking about some trade secrets here in exposing our biz plan, and those big brothers might feel pissed at one point and say OK, I am going to punish you for a week and then u get squeezed. I doubt that 'd happen because we all together comprise only a tiny bit fraction of those in the game, and why should any biggie care? But anyhow, it is as much as selling puts to buy calls, only that the loss for the latter is limited. And this is a bullish bet. All AOL bulls are certainly strongly encouraged to do so. There is a vendor customber relation here.
