I must admit that I am still pessimistic about Apple's future. Steve Jobs is a visionary technically but, as Next demonstrates, he is not an effective marketer. Unfortunately what Apple really needs now is not new fangled technology but, rather, effective marketing of the good products they already have.

I can already see in my mind's eye Rhapsody being unveiled with great fanfare as the computing world, collectively, takes a big yawn and moves on to new Intel gimmicks [Super-Duper Ultra MMX 2!]
