Shawn, I agree that it is an abomination to let homosexuals serve in any capacity since it is a venial sin to lie with another man. Its the outcome of where our society is headed, influenced by the media and motion pictures and the TV. Close to Hollywood is the den of perversion and the pornography capital of the world like a Sodom and Gomorrah. The US has (Twin Towers) and will continue to pay dearly for looking the other way, imo. As to the Catholic Church, I know absolutely beautiful, sincere Christians that are members and they see no harm in the church traditions. The Catholics are not in the boat alone, however, as many denominations practice tradition over Scriptural truth. I consider the real Church of God, as verified by Paul, to be in the Christian's heart and mind. That is the safe place that God has placed His realized Kingdom. Glad to have you here. I assume that you know that this thread is quite controversial. (grin) James
