RE: They're working on it.

I don't mind not having my short go through. It would have been a fairly small trade (1K shares). I prefer being long on stocks, but saw the runup today as a very good short-term "short" play. Any positive surprise is already factored in. I was a little upset that the brokers at Lombard gave me bad information, though.

The price of a security doesn't make much difference to me, although I prefer stocks in the $5 to $30 range. Lower than that and it's hard to get in and out without the spread killing you. The spread has been 1/32 for SYQT, though, which is about 1%. That's like 1/4 on a $25 stock, which seems reasonable.

RE: The delay -- they're working on it.

Maybe they're working on finding some problems in Iomega's earnings statement so they can talk about it instead of theirs? <G>

Or maybe they're making last-minute arrangements with an executive search firm? <G>
