US Begins Anti-Dumping Review on ROK DRAMs 06/30 The Department of Commerce of the United States has initiated anti-dumping and countervailing duty administrative reviews on DRAM products of Korea. According to the Washington branch of the Korea International Trade Associatio (KITA), the products subject to the investigation will include those manufactured and shipped by Hyundai Electronics Industries and LG Semicon Co. The Korean companies have submitted applications for revocation of the anti-dumping duties as they got minimal margin reviews in the first three annual investigations. Still, the KITA office predicts that it will be difficult for the two Korean companies to get the minimal margin rates again because Hyundai and LG received 12.64 and 7.61 percent rates in the forth review in March this year.
