This bill has provisions that take place immediately.

I heard this a few times on the news today, but no one said what the provisions are exactly. When it becomes law, what changes happen immediately?

As a US citizen living overseas, and I supposed to by private insurance from a US company or face an increase in my income tax?

As a person with no job, and also no state residence, can I get Medicaid? From which state? Is that going to pay for the (heaven forbid) emergency room in Manila?

They keep saying the bill will give coverage to 30 million who are currently uninsured, with a lot of that subsidized. Exactly how do we uninsured sign up?
