Jim, I agree. I don't think the primary way in which the camps will now move is through airlines. Our traffic system is much easier to access and the buildings of importance are too numerous to guard adequately. Everyone needs to be vigilant and alert authorities of suspicious actions. If I, however, were a terrorist, I would lay low for a month or more before the next strike is made. But now is the time in which we may be able to round up as many accomplices as possible while we are all very alert.

Intelligence agencies are diligently searching student records of flight instruction schools. I hope they are being proactive and now examining foreign student rosters in biology, chemistry, nuclear programs in order to round up perpetrators for potential bigger events. Hopefully financial traces will cut off support, too, but many of their transactions have been in cash.

War on Afghanistan is not the answer, but identifying the roots and getting at them there is the answer: finances and intelligence.
