All,

Possible libel and defamation suits are possible for Internet chat groups. Today's Financial Post has two stories concerning legal action being taken or being pondered after individuals made disparaging comments on both Yahoo! and SI threads. Thus, in addition to having your SI subscription revoked, you could also face some time in court, if you make some untrue comments. As one of the accused said in agreeing to cease his posts, "I cannot jeopardize my family's future in a fight with the" other party.

It's something worthwhile to consider.
