Ron, I am happy to hear that you are adding a scanner to your supply of equipment. I hope the abuse you have received on this thread was not the only reason you decided to "take the plunge". Kinko's, you know "your office away from the office" and many other copy centers offer scanning services. Photographs can be scanned and copied onto 3.5diskets and then read from your floppy drive to the internet. The operators or sales people in charge of the scanner can give you more complete instructions specific for the brand of scanner they are operating. I do recommend that you use one in a center before you purchase one. Just a thought, Marlin
