1. Speed- Clique is too slow (according to Iomega specs) for gaming. Even Cd- Rom has a faster transfer rate, and Nintendo 64 doesn't use CD-ROm because it's too slow. Nintendo 64 uses cartridges. Much faster.

2. Margins- CD Roms for gaming cost below .70› to manufacture. Clique costs are much higher.
