you haven't been following....then you call your broker stupid??? I agree, Fred...I made the ultimate call. But for two years, I had fended off this broker's every recommendation, and paid top dollar to make my own picks. This time I deferred to his recommendation, and learned to listen to nobody else for a stock pick. I knew as soon as I saw the chart I had made a bad decision...but the broker should have seen it coming, too, and not even been pushing this stock. But at Smith-Barney, they push the stock-of-the-month for little regard for what its realities are, which I only learned afterwards. Hopefully, the reasonable earnings report today will let me get out of Intel with enough to cover my commissions. Then I won't be on this thread to complain any more. Cheers! Rick
