Advertising Idea for digital 'fridge...

Now lets say you put a flat panel touch screen on this 'fridge and leave it connected to the internet. My guess is advertisers could ship in commercials to you suggesting new products that match your use and perhaps coupons to go with them for free samples or whatever.

Imagine in a soothing voice:

"Dave, would you like to try a different brand of butter?"

"No Hal, I like my brand just fine, thank-you"

"Dave, I can give you a 25% off coupon to try brand-x.

"No Hal, no thanks"

"Dave, I have been authorized to give you a free sample coupon if you agree to try this butter and do a 5 question survey on the touch screen after you try it?"

"Hal, do I have to wipe the butter off my fingers before touching the screen?"

Many of us will not want advertising companies to know what we are eating (we will charge for this valuable knowledge) but I bet the majority could hardly care less.

Now, what do we invest in NOW to take advantage of this? Chip makers, Flat Screen Display companies and semiconductor capital equipment companies. 8)
