CA subsidizes half the cost. Other states have done the same. The Feds could do MUCH more.

Besides that, there's a company that will install a roof installation for you for NOTHING up front, if you agree to pay them what you pay the local electric provider NOW for thirty years with no increases or maintenance fees. I gave John the link, but I couldn't locate it myself. It's only in some states, due to state policies.
