14:37 ET Fed Watch : Next week may bring a number of important events. We hope one will include the Fed in a coordinated ease with other key central banks. The global policy easing not only aids a continuing weakening in the global economy but adds proof that the world is united against the vicious terrorist attack and its effects. The funds futures market is currently pricing in a 50 basis point intermeeting ease late next week, and indicating a 70% chance of a 75 bp ease by the Oct 2 FOMC meeting.
