I watched Stossell tonight, not a particularly good show. I was encouraged by how many young people where in the audience, but discouraged by their questions. I'm struggling with how to characterize it. Uninformed, unsophisticated, naive don't quite capture it. The Dylan lyric "you know somethings happening, but you don't know what it is" keeps popping into my head. Maybe puzzled, perplexed. The questions did reveal a complete lack of comfort with economics and history. Among a group that one would think would be self selecting toward being better grounded in those subjects. Maybe I'm being naive, probably just free tickets to a chance to be on TV. Just thought I'd pass that on. ARS
