Just curious how XM garnered the majority of market share. Less monthly fees until recently?

XMSR had a year headstart before SIRI was operational. Mel Karmazin has been closing that gap and actually surpassed XM in new subscribers added during last quarter. Expect that to continue this year with SIRI's better content & Mel's marketing genius. XMSR does have the superior technology at this point though.

Both SIRI & XMSR will eventually become profitable as the market for satellite radio expands to its full potential.

I've had both for couple years now, XM in the car and SIRI in the boombox. Next vehicle will have both.
