Syd (and Jeff S.),

I have understood the messages. Clearly, Jeff is the SAC leader. However, considering the abuse he's been given, I was not sure he would want to put up with it anymore.

Like Carl and a few others like yourself, I'm trying to get this thread back into balance so we can ALL benefit from a mature discourse with healthy skepticism and responsible communication.

If Jeff wants to continue and take on an active information conduit role (given his family and work responsibilities allow him to do so), then I'm all for it. (Speaking for myself, Jeff's taught me a lot about GIFS and how to conduct a SAC. Ron Reece for GRNO has done an excellent job too.)

I hope we can find a way to take the deluge from SI/Internet and find a way to regulalate the flow for both GIFS time benefit and our own. We need a more efficient mechanism. I hope a liaison (Jeff S.?) is the mechanism, and that people gives it room to work.

And the adventure continues...
