I don't think it will become disorganized, except perhaps temporarily. It will surely disorganize the offshore oil folks. Should be extremely bullish for oil service stocks. The service companies will be repairing pipelines and platforms well into next year.

In fact, I think the service companies are going to have so much work as a result of an early storm eason plus a few more storms later on that they are going to have difficulty choosing which projects to undertake.

The oilmen are happy today.

No plans to evacuate. Unless something radical happens, we should be OK. Tropical Storm Cindy barely missed us a couple of days ago. We were without power at home for a day after suffering 70 mph gusts, a few uprooted trees around town, etc., but otherwise no biggie.

This will be Mobile's and Pensacola's second major storm in a year. I pity the poor folks there.
