We do need two candidates though.

If you write off Hillary and McCain, you are writing off the two frontrunners of only weeks ago. (Ya, I know you didn't write off Hillary - but suggested it). Rudy has so much garbage, I just don't see him getting it. Obama is unproven and for that reason I think he does not make it - more likely a VP.

Thus, Edwards (by default?) for Democrats and an unannounced for the Republicans is where my money is. Someone on TV suggest Romney, but I don't remember who said it. I thought maybe Hagel as he should get conservative support in primaries - but admitting it's a long shot for him now.
