Wall Street will ignore quality of products.

Disclosure : I am long on NOVL, fortunately only a couple of points out of the money.

It has finally dawned on me why Wall Street (ever so fickle) seems to be ignoring the good news coming from NOVL. The company has a remarkably consistent record of poor performance despite having a stable of impressive products. While I continue to feel that the stock has the potential to recover, I'm pretty sure that this process will not start until the company starts to report better numbers. This probably won't happen until mid-1997, once the 4.1 upgrades start to roll in. Too bad I didn't figure this out a couple of months ago.

In the mean time I will try to be patient, despite the fact that day-trading is a lot more fun.

Any other thoughts (not hopes) on when the numbers might improve ?
