Richard, We'll have to wait and see what the actual price/performance ratio is for the PPC NC machines. I was at a trade show a year ago and IBM was showing complete (IBM OEM) motherboards with built in everything for PPC. The reason I don't doubt IBM can compete is that they have a policy of setting certain margins (often high) for a product and if they can't make those margins they simply don't make the product. Intel doesn't need to be cheaper, it only has to offer highest preformance in my view. People prefer buy the horsepower and pay a little extra wouldn't you agree ? Maurice
