Haha, Borland and Corel are MY two biggest holdings right now. I don't have an explanation for you, but I see a lot of value in COREL. WordPerfect is a decent product. I install it on my computer but don't use it as my main office suite due to compatibility needs with co-workers. As soon as Corel solves the file compatibility prolem and make WordPerfect as an alternative platform for the MS Office environment, we will see lots of users (including myself) to migrate to WordPerfect. This is the path Corel wants to pursue, and I applaud it.

Let us think of the history of the auto industry. Ford was the dominant player for many years. It took a combination of many smaller company (i.e.,GM) to overtake it. If there is going to be a GeneralSoft (GS), we can easily envision Borland and Corel in it.
