qksand, you're making me feel better about my non-decision with U.S. West. From the very first instant I spoke with those guys about sticking DSL in our Denver office and was told by their spokesperson that they had "MegaBit Service" but NOT DSL (hellooo?), my confidence was shaken. When it was sufficiently clarified that MegaBit and DSL were same, same, they promptly tested the wrong line. Then they tested the right line but couldn't definitively say whether it would support DSL or not. Then they were unsure when they could come out and stick it in which would be the only way they would know for sure if it would work when they got there which they couldn't say when that would be . . . .
We're using 56k v.90 dial-up and waiting for Concentric/Covad to roll Denver out later this year. The broadband revolution ain't here just yet, trust me. Mike Doyle
