Thanks, JF.

I sorta gave in to my baser instincts and posted when I saw someone forget the fine print attached to every cognitive and perceptive event of our fuzzy little lives:
This is an estimate, not a commitment. No warranty express or implied.

My issue entirely; I have uncherished memories from my college days when a more impressionable self fell in with a pack of moral absolutists. Since then I have evolved a deep mistrust of any and all bearers of the light. I'll try to play nicer.
The paradox is that at the same time I'm not real cozy with the opposite: moral (and then some) relativism. I'm settin' up to do some procreatin' of my own (with some assistance from Loving Spouse) so in preparation for a barrage of toddleresque epistemology I'm always on the lookout for some sort of ethical center. This thread with its discourses on sex, greed, food and rugged philosophical/aesthetic individualism seems like a great place to shop (and every now and then put something up for consignment).

And who knows, maybe I'll be invited to model a wet flak jachet at the St.Paddy's day feel-in.
Regards Alex
