Neither did I. But this will cast further doubts over the Alzheimer's vaccine programs. And it will slow down the development.

In the end it might very well turn out that this was a reaction that was specific for mice or even only for the type of mice that was used for the study. But still, Elan will have to test for these effects and somehow show that they don't apply to their vaccines.
