Chuzzlewit, I am not surprised your portfolio has done so well. In fact, it should have done well. You are a financial analyst, after all; investing is your business.

Most people don't do nearly as well (including, I suspect, most people who frequent SI). They do not have the time or the skills to obtain such good returns. And if you are a total bozo in this regard, you might actually do better investing in T-Bonds, and then turning your back on the whole thing. Better than if you just stuck the money under your mattress, at any rate.
