My older son agrees with you. He believes in vampires and dragons, and his friends tell him that it is impossible that such things exist. He says that they are irrational, just because they have never seen one doesn't mean that they don't exist.

I don't believe in vampires and dragons, but I do believe in God, and I can tell you that I know God exists because I can feel God, but I can't make you feel God if you don't. And I wouldn't blame you for thinking that I am crazy if you don't.
