OT-Baydog,
I strongly suggest Muir Woods National Park and Point Reyes National seashore. Make sure it's a nice sunny day or your views will be limited. Both are located just north of the Golden Gate Bridge. The wine country has it's appeal, but I'm not sure SoberDog will get the most out of this area.

For dining, Sausalito offers a spectacular view of SF from the north.
