This is ridiculous. Until you tell me why specific dates are important, I can't be bothered."

OK....I don't think I can make it any clearer.

"I'd like to better understand what it is you thought you saw there especially when it comes to places like Berlin. TIA"

Their cities are on average more attractive and liveable than American cities. Because its fairly chic to live in apt. buildings, density levels are higher than American cities making rapid transit more feasible. As an alternative to flying, you can travel on fast trains, plusher and roomier than any plane, that get you quickly to other cities although not as quickly as a plane. In the Nordic countries the cities are very clean and nature is intertwined with urban living. And of course, its exciting to meet people from other cultures.

Having said all that, I tend to get homesick after six months.....its hard to get a cold beer or ice water. They smoke too much and the streets are narrow. They are not always very friendly to Americans and the class structure is more evident there.

Is that what you had in mind?
