Actually, I very much liked math and the sciences and still do. I just never got the hang of basic arithmetic. This lack of knowledge of basic arithmetic caused a chemistry professor, in later years, to remark to my lab partner (also numbers challenged) and me that he did not want to have to be teaching chemistry out under a tree because someone had blown up his lab. Oh yes, my checkbook is a disaster too!. <g> - Holly
