MSDNC's High Moral Standards -- By: Greg Pollowitz

By webmaster@nationalreview.com (Greg Pollowitz)

Mediaite has an e-mail they say is from MSDNC's president, Phil Griffin, to a David Shuster fan angry at his suspension over taping a pilot for CNN:

From: Griffin, Phil (NBC Universal)
Sent: Wed 4/07/10 11:16 PM

Sorry, but this is a business and I need team players. He was not moral, ethical or professional and that is not fair to the 500 people who work at msnbc.

Thanks for your note,
Phil

Yes! Only the "moral" and "ethical" must work for NBC!

Maybe a definition of "moral" and "ethical" is in order . . .

For the first time, former N.Y. Gov. Eliot Spitzer has stepped in as guest host of MSNBC's Dylan Ratigan show. The once scandal-torn lawmaker filled in yesterday, and this afternoon he's in the host chair once again.

Program note: They're not letting him run the ship alone. He's joined by a second guest host, Monica Novotny.

Spitzer looked happy as pie to be host. He's no easy interview. He's quickly learning the fine art of interrupting guests.

Who's next?
Former North Carolina Democratic Sen. John Edwards?
