Pete:

Novell is well aware of that problem and has been
addressing it as evidenced by their push to make
a segment of the business easier for those customers
who want an "out-of-box" experience.

Some of the criticisms of Novell's management makes
it sound like they don't know the things that we're
talking about on this thread.

You can be sure of one thing: they are more aware of
the competition than we are and they are moving to
get the word out.

These things take time; Novell is moving just as rapidly
as Microsoft and Netscape and all the rest.

The networking world is a huge one and it's growing at
a fast pace--there's no reason to believe that Microsoft
or any other software company is going to get it all.

Novell is going to be around for a long time, either as a
stand-alone corporations or as a division of something
like IBM.

Another certainty is that Novell is not going to go down
the tubes because of David Lethe's opinions or because
VK's company doesn't realize how lousy Microsoft
Exchange and Microsoft Mail are.
