Ford delays production cutbacks for select models auto.com looks like they missed out on sales of SUVs and bigger cars by not having enough on stock. also Taurus, Sable, Explorer, etc. are commonly available in rental and corporate fleets, and those customers may be expecting to place more orders. seeing quite a large inventory of rental fleet available for sale. don't know how it compares to a year ago, but it's up from fall after the attacks. but then, rental and corporate fleets turn over after a few years, two or three?
