The only reason to go up is the conference call on thursday after the market close. until then I have no idea what will happen but I think it will go up after that call. The stock trades wildly as it did last year when it went from $60 to $20 during the last panic before finishing the year above $50. I think fair value based on 1999 earnings is somewhere in the mid-$40's but fair value doesn't mean much unless investors are confident in the future and investors currently aren't. The stock could just bounce around until the second 1/2 of the year and then miss a quarter and go to $10. I wouldn't load up on any small cap software company for this reason (except for a trade). I think there will be a good short-term trade in DCTM from the $20's pre-conference call...
