SGI's margins are currently a bit low and probably will be until they digest cray and burp. Pretax Company Margin ----------------- SGI 6.8% HWP 10.2 SRA 4.2 SUNW 10.3 TDM 1.4 The bad news is that margins are historically low. They peaked at 11% in 1995. The good news is that if margins go back up (which they should) earning will also go up quite a bit.
